| Day 1:
Depart from New York or Atlanta aboard your SAA t flight to Cape Town . (Dinner and breakfast aloft)

Day 2:
Welcome to South Africa !
On arrival you will met by your travel representative and transported to your contemporary hotel within walking distance to the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CICC), the venue of the renowned Cape Town International Jazz festival After welcome drinks and a brief orientation meeting we will retire to our rooms to settle in and refresh after our long flight.
This evening we will enjoy a welcome to South Africa dinner, with our South African guide.
Day 3:
This morning we enjoy a short orientation tour around the beautifully city of Cape Town and weather permitting a cable car trip up the famous Table Mountain, after a short lunch stop we take a catamaran across Table Bay to the notorious Robben Island. Tonight we experience the warm hospitality of an African township- Langa, we enjoy dinner and music at Lelapa, a township restaurant where you will enjoy an abundant home cooked buffet and live music by local South African talent.
Day 4:
The 1st night of CT Jazz festival
After a leisurely breakfast we take a relaxed drive along the spectacular coastline of the western curve of the Cape, We travel via Hout Bay and along Chapman’s Peak on our way to Cape Point, the Cape of Good Hope where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet at the tip of Africa. We arrive back at our hotel in time to freshen up and rest in preparation for a late night of JAZZ, JIVE and SOULFUL interactions with South Africa’s music lovers.
The Cape Town Jazz festival is a fusion of international Jazz stars and Africa’s musical talent, an extravaganza of music, excitement and warm interactions. A guide will accompany you to the Jazz festival.
Day 5:
The second night of The CT International Jazz Festival
Today we have full day of touring, the Cape winelands including the charming and historic little town of Stellenbosch. We visit South Africa’s famous Vineyards and enjoy a picnic lunch buffet and taste the palatable wines at the elegant Zevenwaght Wine Estate or similar wine estate. At the end of this full-bodied gourmet day we return to our hotels, in time to freshen up and rest in preparation for the 2nd night of the CAPE TOWN JAZZ, Africa’s world class and renowned Fusion Jazz Festival.
Day 6:
Sunday is at your leisure to relax and soak up the beauty of the city of Cape Town or shop until you drop at the Greenmarket flea market .dinner is an African experience at Moya’s in Stellenbosch.
Day 7:
Visiting KHWA TTU SAN CULTURAL & EDUCATIONAL centre
Today; we travel an hour north west to visit the KHWA TTU SAN CULTURAL Centre an old renovated farm building dedicated to the oldest inhabitants of Southern Africa The San or Bushmen.
We are educated about the San culture which dates back 40 000 years and accompany a San guide on a walk to learn about tracking and the local flora and buck.
After this interesting day we return to our hotel to enjoy our last night in the city of Cape Town.
Day 8:
This morning we embark on the next leg of our African adventure, we catch a 2 hour flight to JHB where we will be met by our guide and luxury bus and journey 2.5 hours north of Johannesburg to the Limpopo province To the private game lodge of Entabeni.
“Place of the Mountain” private game reserve in search of THE BIG 5.
The lodge is set within 10 000 hectares of land which provides a sanctuary for a variety of birdlife and the Big 5. On arrival after your welcome drink, you will set out on your afternoon/sunset game drive in an open vehicle accompanied by a highly trained ranger.
Day 9:
We arise at the crack of dawn (5am) for our sunrise game drive once again in search of the Big 5.
Mid morning we have the option of relaxing or embarking on a guided walk. There are a number of optional extra activities such as helicopter flights to enjoy as well as another sunset game drive. Tonight will be the last grand gathering of our group under African skies, a farewell dinner to remember.
Day 10:
After a final early morning game drive and a leisurely breakfast we embark on the homeward journey, with time to stop to shop along the way, and a tour of Soweto, SA‘s famous township landmark, arriving at JHB international airport at 5pm with time enough to check in for our 19.55 flight back to the USA, with renewed energy, an enriched world view and memories to last a lifetime
